I’m honored to be included in this year’s High Plains Reader Voter Guide for the Fargo Park Board race.
In the interview, I share more about my background, what led me to get involved, and the priorities shaping my campaign.
A quick overview:
Experience that translates
As a small business owner, I work daily on solving complex problems, managing budgets, and planning for the future – the same skills needed to make thoughtful, responsible decisions on the Park Board.
Community-driven results
My involvement started as a resident. At Orchard Glen Park, I raised accessibility concerns and worked directly with the Park District to improve access. It showed that when people speak up and stay engaged, real progress happens.
Top priorities
- Equitable investment – Every neighborhood deserves quality parks, trails, and facilities
- Accessibility – Physical, financial, and transportation access must be part of every decision
- Long-term planning – Growth requires proactive, responsible investment and maintenance
Looking ahead
Fargo’s biggest challenge is keeping up with growth while using resources responsibly. The opportunity is to be intentional – building a more connected, inclusive parks system that serves the entire community.
