About Tyler Sand

I have been a lifelong advocate for stewardship, accessibility, and opportunity within our community.

As a Fargo resident and entrepreneur, I own a software consulting business where I work with organizations to solve complex problems through collaboration, thoughtful planning, and innovative solutions. My professional experience has reinforced my belief that the best decisions come from listening to people, understanding community needs, and planning responsibly for the future.

Fargo is a community I deeply value for its strong sense of connection, shared responsibility, and commitment to one another. I believe that when we invest in spaces that bring people together, we create opportunities for residents to build relationships, stay active and healthy, and feel a true sense of belonging.

Outside of work, I enjoy many of the recreational opportunities our community offers. You can often find me curling, hiking, fishing, swimming, or simply spending time outdoors in the parks and natural spaces that make Fargo such a great place to live.

I’m also proud to have six nieces and nephews growing up in the Fargo area. Watching them explore playgrounds, participate in sports, and enjoy the outdoors has highlighted the vital role parks play in creating opportunities for young people and strengthening our community.

These experiences are what led me to run for the Fargo Park Board. I am committed to ensuring that Fargo’s parks and recreational opportunities remain accessible, welcoming, and responsive to the needs of every resident. Quality parks and recreation systems are the foundation of vibrant neighborhoods and healthy communities, and I’m dedicated to helping Fargo continue to grow in a way that benefits everyone.
